Anne Arundel County Child Find -
Child Find is the service that the State of Maryland has established to locate, identify and evaluate children with disabilities. It is available at no cost to families.
The Preschool Child Find Team provides identification services to children three to five years of age who may have a disability including developmental delay. The team includes a special educator, a speech-language pathologist, a psychologist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist and other related services providers. Parents are important members of the team and are included in each IEP meeting.

Anne Arundel County Infant and Toddlers Progran -
The goal of the Anne Arundel County Infants and Toddlers Program (ITP) is to provide support and services to infants and toddlers with delays/disabilities to help them reach their potential and be prepared for school. The Anne Arundel County ITP is a family-centered program serving children birth through two years of age who reside in Anne Arundel County and meet state requirements.
Early Intervention services are outlined in Individualized Family Support Plans (IFSP). These services are provided by a team of special education professionals and are designed to build the capacity of parents and caregivers through a family coaching interaction style.

Anne Arundel County Speach and Lanquage Service -
Anne Arundel County Public Schools, through the Division of Specialized Instruction's Special Services office, provide speech-language services to all eligible students. These services are provided by certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who have the expertise to work with students having a wide range of disabilities and diverse educational needs.
Speech-Language Pathologists are professionally trained to screen, assess, identify and provide therapy for students with articulation, fluency, voice and language needs. Within the educational environment, Speech-Language Pathologists assist students with communication needs in order to support learning. A comprehensive assessment and thorough evaluation provide information for appropriate decision-making in eligibility, implementation and dismissal decisions. Speech-Language Pathologists develop and implement plans consistent with current research and practice.
