* The Answer is in the Hands of Our Youth An
opportunity for OSLC youth who are pursuing non-traditional training
and educational opportunities: This generous anonymous gift challenges
OSLC youth to be creative in meeting their life goals to meet society's
needs via the vast realm of educationally related opportunities
available beyond the traditional 4-year college. The goals and
circumstances of individual applicants will be consider in the awarding
of this post secondary stipend. Applications can be completed and returned to the church office, attention: Scholarship Committee.
* Sunday School: 9:45 on Sundays for all ages (mid-September through May)
* Confirmation (for 7th & 8th grade students): 5:15 p.m. Wednesdays and 9:45 a.m. Sunday morning
* Teen Talk: 5:15 p.m. Wednesdays (9th-12th grades)
* Youth-led Worship: Praise Band service 3rd Sunday each month
* Youth Retreats: Jr. Youth Quake, Sr. Road Trip, lock-ins, Ski trip
* Community Service: CROP walk, SPAN scavenger hunt, Habitat for Humanity,
Winter Relief/homeless shelter, Nursing home visits
* Mission Trips: West Virginia, Bahamas, Mississippi
* Fun & Fellowship: pool parties, go karting, corn maze,
skiing/snowboarding, movies, Christmas party,
caroling, capture the flag, weekly gatherings,
concerts…
